First and foremost, I’m a Dad and a Husband. My lifelong goal is to build a life that sustains health, joy and happiness for me, my wife, and my kids. The second thing you must know is I’m a financial literacy junkie. I’ve found that those who are able to best make, manage, save, and invest their money are profoundly happier and more content with their lives. I’ve taken this on as a calling… In 2004, I founded National Financial Educators with the goal to educate, entertain, and inspire young people to live their lives in complete control of their money. My business partner and I co-authored Winning The Money Game in 2005 and I have personally delivered the message to over 175,000 students from schools all over the country. The book is now being used in many classrooms as a teaching tool for basic financial education.

 I am at the very core, an Edu-tainer. My philosophy is people are not learning unless they are laughing, and have made humor a very central part of every program. I once read that if you’re not living on the edge, you’re taking up too much room. To that notion, I’ve bungee jumped in New Zealand, scuba dived the Great Barrier Reef, spent a New Year’s Eve in Amsterdam, went static line skydiving, am a certified hypnotherapist, and won 3rd runner up in the funniest person in Iowa contest (a joke in of itself…), and I once rolled a Jeep Cherokee end over end 4 times.
