Earn $250 for your classroom.
We are reaching out to high school teachers around the state to encourage your students to participate in ProjectMoney™ 2014 on Saturday, November 15. This event draws its inspiration from the concept of the classic science fair: Students choose a subject and explore it through the creation of an original project, but rather than science, students explore the realm of financial literacy.
As an incentive to classrooms and teachers:
Our hope is that you will consider participation and encourage your students to register a project. In past years, teachers have assigned projects and participation in the fair, and others have offered extra credit for participation. We hope that you find this program helpful and a good way to incorporate financial literacy into your curriculum.

If you would like to talk about ProjectMoney or schedule an information session for your classroom, please contact Greater Iowa Credit Union at 515.956.3085 or [email protected]. We are also happy to provide materials that can be distributed to students upon request.

As an incentive to classrooms and teachers:
- Receive a package of financial literacy materials to schools that register a minimum of five students (separate project entries).
- $250 cash will be awarded to the top five classrooms with the most students or groups entered and presenting the day of the competition (groups will count as one entry).
